Demetria Jones Perkins life came to an end on Monday November 28, 2022 at the age of 53 at Alive Hospice-Murfreesboro in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Mrs. Perkins was born on November 11, 1969 in Franklin, Tennessee to the parents of Henry L. Jones and Margaret Ann Williams.

Mrs. Perkins leaves to cherish her many memories her children, Tequila (Maurice) Thompson, Shaquita (Nathaniel Sr.) Perkins, Miracle Perkins, Margaret Jones, Antonio Jones, Charlie Heilman , Omarion Anderson, Jermaine Perkins, Lakeisha (Shawn) Perkins, grandchildren, Quilan Jones, Jamaria Perkins, Kamaria Perkins, Jimmy Ridley, Nathaniel Adams, Jr., Kasen Adams and Cailee Adams; father, Henry L (Dora). Jones; brothers, Larry (Lynn) Jones, Jeffrey (Angela) Jones, Timothy Jones and John Hyde Thomas; sisters, Jacqueline (Tony) Frye; sister-in-law, Elease Jenkins-Jones; aunts; Brenda Wade and Patricia Thomas; uncles, Thomas (Maietta) Williams and James Williams; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, devoted friends, Jackie Burns and Louise Thompson.

Mrs. Perkins will lie in state on Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 12 until 5 at the funeral home.

Visitation 11-12 with funeral to follow, Friday, December 9, 2022 at Locust Ridge Primitive Baptist Church 4991 Murfreesboro Road, Arrington, Tennessee. Elder John Haynes, officiating and Elder Howard Rucker, eulogist.
