Dorris Johnson departed this life on January 13, 2022 at his residence, in Eagleville, Tennessee at the age of 77. He was born in Eagleville, Tennessee to the parents of Earnest Johnson and Essie Tucker Johnson.
Those left behind to cherish his many memories, his devoted wife, Dorothy Johnson; granddaughters, Monica (Nathan) McLemore, Candice (Jessica) Oden; great-granddaughters, Miriah and MaKynzi McLemore; sisters-in-law, Mary Bowen, Louise (Ronnie) Perkins, Brenda (Clifton) Curll; brothers-in-law, Clarence (Donna) Esmond, Jerry (Betty) Esmond, Thomas (Carlene) Esmond, Charles "Bo" (Pam) Esmond; nieces, nephews, cousins, devoted family, Erma Jean Smith and Melissa Lamber, devoted friend, Andy Perkins, the Lanier, Jordan, and Johnson family.

Mr. Johnson will lie in state on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 12 until 5 at Waters Funeral Home.
Visitation with family Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 11 until 12 at Clayborne Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, 147 Trinity Road with funeral to follow. Reverend Jerry Brooks, officiating. Pastor Ray L. Jackson, Eulogist.
