Gary “Wesley” Shaw II passed away on May 1, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 36. Gary was born on November 29, 1986, to Gary Wesley Shaw and Alisa Watkins in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Wesley leaves to cherish his memory his father; Gary Wesley Shaw, mother; Alisa Rainey, sister; Dorris Collins, Aunts; Gale Shaw, Phyllis (Jardon) Eccles, Sandra (Ray) Mallory, Uncles; Derek Watkins, Reggie (Katrina) Watkins; a devoted fiancé; Yohana Vazquez, bonus children; Allison and Uriel. Plus, a host of cousins and friends.

Mr. Shaw will lie in state on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 12 until 5 at the funeral home.

Visitation with family, Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 11 until 12 at Lynn Creek Tabernacle Church, 117 Fairground Street, Franklin, Tennessee with funeral to begin at 12 Noon. Minister Raymond Banner, eulogist.

Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery, Franklin, Tennessee.

It feels weirdly silent in this space. Gary was the brightest and most genuine soul I've ever served at a restaurant with. He brought more personality to the job than anyone I've ever been privileged to work alongside. I can't believe he's no longer with us. Probably my best friend upon moving here to Nashville. I'll miss you bud.
