Sanford Family, I send my heartfelt sympathy. I met George when I attended Fowles Street Church of Christ. I was fourteen. I thought he was the nicest person. I always admired his gentle spirit. He will be greatly missed.

We are sad to hear the news of George`s passing. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family and friends. Jimmy has many fond memories of working with him at the Fire Dept. As a matter of fact we were talking about those days earlier this week. God be with yall is our prayer.

I've known George sense I was a teenager. I remember him dating my sister Bernice, taking me to basketball practice and listening to music. He's always been a big part of the family for as long as I can remember. We worked together at the fire department, where we had many good times. Till this day, I remember a sermon he preached and till this day it's remains one of my top Three sermons I ever heard. He was the patriarch and the spiritual leader of this family for years. His passing is going to leave a lasting whole in this family for years to come, until our healing come. Very much heart broken for his loss. Our family will be forever grateful to him for the contribution he made to all of us. God bless the Family.
