Howard E. "Tootie" Haynes life came to an end on day, May 5, 2024 at the age of 82 at his home in Franklin, Tennessee. Howard was born on April 28, 1942 in Franklin, Williamson County Tennessee to the parents of Axie Cunningham Haynes and Arthur Haynes.

He leaves to cherish his memories wife, Ella Katherine Haynes; daughters, Debbie (John) Reffegee and Cathy Haynes; sons, Howard Haynes, Jr. and Karl Haynes; grandchildren, Kerry (Delores) Haynes, Lakeshia (Delmonzo) Alexander, Rickcolas Haynes, Traveda (Kevita) Jordan, Karlos Haynes, Cardrell Brown, Anthony Haynes and Karlecia Haynes; great grandchildren, Kierra, Tamia, Angel, Kristen, Rashad, Keyshawn, AJ and Legacy; great great grandchild, Julian; sister, Mary Marthel; sister-in-law, Lou Willie Haynes; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mr. Haynes will lie in state on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 12 until 5 at Waters Funeral Home 1408 Columbia Ave. Franklin, Tennessee.

Visitation with family, Saturday May 11, 2024 from 11:00 until 12:00 at Providence United Primitive Church, 377 Natchez Street, Franklin, Tennessee with funeral to follow. Elder Herbert Hobson, eulogist.

Interment Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Columbia, Tennessee.
