John Mike Carothers passed away on April 27, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 48. John was born on July 18, 1974, in Nashville, Tennessee to the parents of Linda Carothers and John Gosey.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, DeeDee Floyd Carothers: daughters, Jazmyn Carothers, Cierra Stockard and Ne`Vaeh Garton; granddaughters, Knox and Phoenix Nevils; mother, Linda (Curtis) Curl and father, John Gosey; siblings, LaDawnia Carothers and Kandice Curll; mother-in-law, Emma Floyd; father-in-law, James Allen Floyd; 2 brothers-in-law; 1 sister-in-law; aunts, devoted aunts, Annie "Bena" Pope and Mildred Pope; uncles, nephews, LaVarious McClain, LeDonnis Carothers and KJ Robinson; devoted cousins, R C (Mary) Pope, Beverly (Stephen) Darnell and Darnez Pope; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Carothers will lie in state on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 12 until 5 at the funeral home.

Visitation with family, Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 11 until 12 at Limestone Baptist Church, 1613 West Main Street, with funeral to begin at 12 Noon.
