John Will Otey passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at his residence in Franklin, Tennessee at the age of 61. He was born on November 2, 1962 in Franklin, Williamson County, Tennessee to the parents of Willis Otey and Susie B. Lee.
John Will Otey leaves to cherish his memories, his brothers, James Otey, Robert (Connie) Otey, Joe Otey, Sam(Patricia) Starnes and Reverend J.W. (Tonyette) Davis; sisters, Melanie Otey, Laura S. (James) Johnson and Linda Brown; aunt, Katherine Lee; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Mr. Otey will lie in state on Friday, July 12 , 2024 from 12 until 5 at the funeral home.
Visitation with family Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 11 until 12 at Green Street Church of God, 915 Green Street Franklin, Tennessee with funeral to follow. Elder Thomas Wilson, officiating and Elder Ray McGuire, Jr., eulogist.
Interment Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Columbia, Tennessee.
