Mary Ann Scales departed this life on September 24, 2026 at Alive Hospice of Nashville, in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 91. She was born July 11, 1935 in Williamson County to the parents of Odelia Crowder and Amelia Reynolds.

Mrs. Scales leaves to cherish her many memories, her children, Carolyn (Kenneth) Marable, Melvin (Gail) Scales and Wanda (Clarence) Scott; grandchildren, Shanita (Bryan)Thomas,Travell Haynes, Shatiqua (Fred) Curll, Marcelle Scales, LaToya Johnson, Tracy Beech, MaKenya Marable, Chazmon (Whitney) Scales; Twenty-Seven Great-Grand and Two Great-Great-Grand; devoted sister cousin, Dorothy Pearl Wilson. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation with family Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 11 until 12 at West Harpeth Primitive Baptist Church, 4141 Columbia Pike, Franklin, TN 37064 with funeral to follow, Elder Bernard Jones, officiating and Pastor Jordan Thomas Griffin, eulogist.

Interment Reynolds Family Cemetery.
