Thomas Jarrett sent Beautiful Dreams for Mother Nora Jane Hodge - September 12, 2025
Family we are so sorry for your loss, please accept our heartfelt condolence. Mother Hodge was truly a woman of God. Family stay close to one another. Mother has reached that land of no more.(pain, breathing issues, medications, and needle sticks) She's absent from the body and present with the Lord. May you fine comfort in the Lord. This is Mother's Home-Going Celebration.
My Love & Condolences to the Family of Mother Nora. Mother Nora was a Servant by her deeds; a lover of God & His Word. I will always remember fondly of the times we spent together in our Monday Noon Day Bible Studies and the Saturdays she opened up her home as we planned, prepared & paid from our own pockets meals to carry out to the sick & shut ins from our churches. I'm sure you were welcomed into the Loving Arms of God as you heard Him say, Well done, My Good & Faithful Servant!!π
To Ms. Narciss, your STBC church member misses you on the usher board serving and sending my sincerest condolences on behalf of the family of the Ms Kawanda Braxton to you on the loss of your sister Ms. Nora. To Ms. Hodge's immediate family, our prayers are with you during the loss of your mom. I loved when I would still see Ms. Hodge out in the community when she was still able, we were so used to seeing her and Rev Hodge together (God rest his soul). They are together again in heaven, and I hope she was rejoicing to do that. We miss being their neighbor years ago on N. Margin St. My Grandfather, Charles Buford, was her classmate and also extends his sincerest condolences to you all. We send our regrets that we will not be able to attend her services, but please know that we understand your loss and are praying for this new season for you all. May God continue to give you peace and we send our love. Karyn Braxton Gaines of Strong Tower Bible Church and Deacon Charles Buford.
