my favorite cousin. Aunt Rose used to make you walk me to kindergarten when I lived in Franklin. YOu didn't want to be bothered with a little skrandy girl tagging along behind you slowing you down or to be seen with me. lol. Mom said that I was crazy about you though. WE didn't have many family gatherings because my Dad was in the service and we lived all around he states. But when we visited we enjoyed our Burns family side. I am sorry I couldn't be at the going home service of Corrine or your passsing but we were not informed. Corrine was the only one who would have known of our connection and with her gone no one else would know who was up here to notify. Love you Butch. Rest in peace. I see you took a picture with my Mom in the pictures and video section. I was surprised to see it. That must have beeen at Aunt Rose s funeral. Love again Butch, your cousin BEverly A. (Holt) White.

Daddy. I knew this day would come. I just didn't expect it so soon. My heart is heavy but my mind is comforted knowing you're in a better place. I'm going to miss your rants. Your army stories. Especially the one when you "borrowed" a lieutenant's badge to fool the new recruits to do your grunt work. The look on their faces when you lined up along side them and they realized you were just a private too. Priceless! I couldn't have asked for a better father. You were a great provider. We never had a want for anything growing up. I'm eternally grateful. So you're finally free of this earthly realm. Free of all the pain. I know you're already getting on Ma's nerves! Uncle Butch aka Paw Paw, Words cannot express how thankful I am to have been your niece for 53 yrs. Over the years you have blessed me and my cousins by treating us just like your kids! Your kindness/care allowed us to experience various things during our childhood!(trips, hunting, fishing etc.) When I became a mother, You and Auntee helped me with raising my daughter as well as loving/nuturing my grandkids. I hoped that I showed you and Auntee in my adult years how much I loved you both! Now take you rest Paw Paw, right beside my Favorite Girl!!
