Obituary For Willie Milton Haynes, Jr.
Willie Milton Haynes Jr. better known as No# 1 Slim, owner of Haynes Electric HVAC life came to an end on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at the age of 70 at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital Midtown Nashville, Tennessee. Willie was born on July 11, 1952 in Franklin, Williamson County to the parents of Martha Jean Patrick and Deacon Willie Milton Haynes, Sr.
He leaves to cherish his many memories devoted wife, Frances Haynes; children; April Pegues, Beneta Polk, James Hubbard, Charles Hubbard and Tony Haynes; grandchildren, Jessica, Adrianna Polk, Jo'Maria, Jo'Misha Fenton, Shyanna Hubbard and Jamie Hubbard; sisters, Minnie (Minister Charles) McKinney, Martha Jones, Susie (Elder James) Coure and Charlotte Holt; devoted niece and nephews, Del, Carvey, Lonzo, Tez, Rel and Genia; and a host of other nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends; devoted friends, Darryl McQuiddy, Arthur Mack Menifee, James and Carl Endsley.

Mr. Haynes will lie in state on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 4 until 7 at Lynn Creek Tabernacle 117 Fairground Street Franklin, Tennessee, with family present from 5 until 7.
Visitation with family, Saturday August 6, 2022 from 11 until 12 at Buena Vista Church of Christ Church, 2520 Buena Vista Pike Nashville, Tennessee with funeral to follow. Brother Dr. Edward Hall, officiating.
Interment Monday, August 8, 2022 at 12 Noon Greenwood Cemetery, North Goodlettsville, Tennessee.

I just learned today, June 6, 2033, of Willie's passing. I had tried calling him to service my ACs. When he didn't return my calls, I began to worry so I went online to make this sad discovery. Willie was such a fine man. He had taken care of our HVAC systems for many years before my husband died & the 14 years since. I appreciate his dedication to his family, his church, his friends, his customers, & his country. In regret I did not know about this sooner...I would have been there to honor him. I will really miss him!!! Thinking of all his beloved family!!! Debbie Brewer
