Willie Wilson III, life came to an end on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the age of 61 in Nashville, Tennessee. Willie was born on August 19, 1960 in Franklin, Williamson County to parents of Bernice Pointer and Willie WIlson, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory mother, Bernice (Dennis) Symlar; sister, Reves Yvonne Wilson and Jacqueline Wilson; brother, Michael Lee; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, devoted friend Bishop Kenneth Steele.
*** Due to COVID-19 In order to enter the funeral home for service you MUST have on a mask per new regulation for the funeral home. You are responsible for supplying your own masks as well ***
Mr. Wilson will lie in state on Friday, September 24, 2021 from12 until 5 at the funeral home.
Visitation with family Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 11 until 12 at Waters Funeral Home with funeral to follow. Pastor Jerry Brooks, officiating.
Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery

I am so thankful for the time I had to know Willie. He could light up a room with his smile and positive attitude. Cooking was a gift God gave Willie. My life has truly been blessed by knowing him. I will remember all the wonderful times we had and think of him fondly. He will truly be missed in all the lives of the people he touched. Until we see each other again, Willie, rest well in the arms of Jesus.
