Wade was friend that I'll always cherish. He often spoke of his family and how devoted he was to them. We shared memories of our playing days against each other, he at Alabama A&M and me at Alabama State University. His strong but gentle demeanor was something I'll always admire. Rest in Peace my brother 🙏🏽 Richard Smith III
Lee Wade was an awesome and honorable gentleman. He always exemplified a meek but meaningful spirit in our days at Trinity Gardens and Blount High Schools as we played football together. May he forever rest in peace and may his family be comforted to know that he is now in a much better place . God bless 🙏🏾❤️
