John C. Harmon, born November 14, 1953, in Savannah, Georgia, was the fourth of eight siblings born to John L. and Lovie L. Harmon. He passed away on October 18, 2025, in Union City, Georgia at age 71 after an illness.

A Benton Harbor High School graduate (1971), John served honorably in the US Army before pursuing various careers, including self-employment. Known for his intelligence and independence, he excelled in technology and even built a robot. His family believed he could have been a successful inventor.

He will be remembered for his quick wit and humor. John loved family deeply.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Louise Guyton, and brothers Charles and Gary Harmon.

John is survived by sisters Veronica Harmon, Bridget Woodson, Bernadette; brother Gregory Harmon; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
