Today is July 17, 2025. I tried calling Lamont because I had not heard from him in over a year and a half. We worked together, he in Sanitation and I was an Atlanta Police Officer. I personally stopped by his house July 17, 2025, and learned he had pass away October 2024. So sadden, but I know he is in a better Place. When ever we ran into each other in Atlanta ,working the same shift, it was a brotherhood fellowship meeting. I will miss his spirit. My brother Lamont, RIP. Retired Atlanta Police Officer Reginald T. Butler I.

I don't know where to start. Rambo, you always had a smile that would light up any room when you entered and I will miss that smile. You would always ask me, How are you doing?
