My heart is deeply saddened as I say goodbye to my dear friend, Channell. For over 38 years, we shared not only a friendship but a sisterhood in Christ. Channell was one of the most peaceful and kind-hearted souls I have ever known. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and unwavering faith touched everyone who had the blessing of knowing her.

Her favorite flower was the tulip — a symbol of perfect love and grace. The Lord has now chosen you, Channell, from His beautiful tulip 🌷 garden. He saw that you needed to be brought home to be nurtured and to rest.

You have fought a good fight, you have finished your course, you have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7

No more pain, no more sorrow. Rest peacefully, my sweet friend. Though you're no longer here in body, your love, laughter, and the precious memories we shared will forever remain in my heart.

Love you, Nell — I'm going to miss you dearly, but I'll hold our sisterhood and every memory close forever.

Sorry her candle had to blow out so soon. Channell was always loved and will truly be missed. My heart is so heavy — I can't sleep, and I constantly think of her. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel. I visited you on Monday, you left us on Wednesday. I just can't put into words of our friendship and what it meant to me. I will cherish this friendship for life. I will miss our conversations, our laughs and our cries. Arielle, Justin, Marishanda, Treaven, Kenzole and Kelanie, I love you all so much. You brought Nell so much JOY. I am here for you; all you have to do is call. I know Auntie Stuff was waiting on you with open arms. Rest well Nell.
