We were saddened to hear the passing of Pastor Reece. He served as the pastor of St.Michael UMC and the Director of the Bennettsville-Cheraw Area Cooperative Ministry. He returned in later years as the pastor of the Cheraw Perish On behalf of the Bennettsville Cheraw Area Cooperative Ministry and member churches the family has our deepest sympathy.

To the Family of Pastor Earnest Reece, Jr., please accept my heartfelt thoughts and prayers as you adjust to the loss of your loved one. In addition to growing up in adjoining neighborhoods, Earnest and I were also members of the Knoxville, TN, Austin High School graduating Class of 1965 which means that our Class circle is broken too. RIP Earnest.

Pastor Reece was my pastor in Walterboro, SC. He loved to preach and could do so quite well. His messages were straightforward and "earnest." May he rest in peace.
