Obituary For Ronny Henderson

Ronny Henderson, 32, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed on May 1, 2019.

Ronny was born to Ronny Wright and Janice E Henderson-Wright, June 3rd, 1986, in Kansas City, Missouri at Saint Mary’s Hospital. He attended Pinkerton Elementary, Whittier Elementary, Southeast Middle and Southeast High School. In 2005, he graduated from Don Bosco Charter School.

His first job was at McDonalds then Kentucky Fried Chicken. Not long after he started working for Home Depot as a security officer. With his good work ethic he began to search for a better stability in employment and that’s when he started working at Medline Industries where he worked for about 3 years.

In 2012, Ronny made the decision to acquire his CDL and become a professional truck driver for Swift Transportation. With every opportunity to travel over the road, he wanted a route that would allow him to be close to home for the sake of his children. Until his passing, he worked at Estes Express Lines where he had the opportunity to conduct on the job training for new employees. He saw that as a big accomplishment.

Ronny was a dedicated father. He knew how to make you laugh and how to get you serious but never a dull moment. If at any time, you needed a helping hand he would be there. His humorous spirit will live forever.

He leaves as his legacy four children; Sanaa Marie Henderson, Imani Evelyn Henderson (Nina Starr), Ronny Henderson Jr (Rakeshia Johnson) and Akyra Nicole Henderson (Shawana Carvin). He also leaves to cherish his memory his maternal grandmother; Easter Henderson, three sister; Ronickia P. Henderson, Sharisa Wright, and Sharita Wright, one brother, Jamie Henderson, Two Nephews; Justin Williams and Jamie Henderson Jr, four nieces; Rozslyn Henderson, Royce Henderson, Harmoni Wright, Jamiana Henderson, special friend; Rhonda Tillman, a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Watkins Heritage Chapel. Visitation 9:00 A.M. Interment Twelve Gates Memorial Gardens.
