Ms. Annie Ruth Randolph was born on July 25, 1939, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Ed Oscar and Gertrude Lunceford. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Renee’ Randolph; her son, Roy Lee Randolph; and her brothers: Gaddis Lunceford, Andrew Lunceford, Lee Anderson Lunceford, and Richard Warren.
At an early age, Annie Ruth accepted Christ and joined Randolph Baptist Church, where she was a devoted and active member throughout her life.
On January 2, 2026, the angels of the Lord gently carried Annie home to eternal rest.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory her son, Robert (Cornelia) Randolph, and her daughter, Mary Ann (Vinson) Randolph-Evans; nine grandchildren: Roderick Randolph, Marcus (Katie) Randolph, Monica Randolph, Kwami Shorter, Jocelyn Randolph, Quinton Hall, Jasmine Randolph, Chambree’ Harris, and V.J. Evans; and nine great-grandchildren: Rashaud Randolph, Jayland Randolph, Khalil Wright, Ja’Niya Collins, Taraji Randolph, Tremiah Edwards, Qy’Ran Hall, Tahiry Randolph, and Justin Randolph.
She is also survived by her devoted sister, Easter Menafee; three brothers, Eddie (Marilyn) Lunceford, Tommy Lunceford, and Marcell Lunceford; three sisters-in-law: Isabelle Lunceford, Brenda Lunceford, and Mattie Warren; and her daughter-in-law, Lajuanna Randolph.
Annie was richly blessed with many who loved her dearly, including special grandchildren: Travis Randolph, Kris Smith, Shantelle Dalton-Bonds, Emani Mallory, and Christian Smith; and her godson, Charles Smith. She will also be fondly remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, church family, and friends.
Annie Ruth will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, kindness, laughter, and faith will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 10, 2026 from the Randolph Baptist Church, Union Point, Georgia at 1pm.
