Mr. Bennie Morgan, Jr. was born August 23 1953 in Madison, Georgia to Bennie Morgan, Sr. and Lola Mae Morgan of Madison, Georgia. Preceding him in death were his father, Bennis Morgan, Sr.; a daughter, Tonya Morgan; grandson, Latravious Crawford; a brother, Willie Morgan and a sister Bessie Hubbard.
Mr. Bennie Morgan, Jr. aka “Bear” graduated from Morgan County High School in 1971. He went to work with his father on a farm in the 1980’s and from there he worked at Pen-Pak in Madison until his retirement. Mr. Bennie “Bear” enjoyed cooking for his family and spending time with each of them. He was a GREAT son, husband, daddy, papa, brother and a FRIEND to many. He always had you laughing.
Mr. Bennie “Bear” was married to the love of his life Londa for 46 years. If you saw him you saw her (two peas in a pod).
Bennie “Bear” passed away suddenly on Friday, July 17, 2020.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife: Mrs. Londa Tory Morgan,; five children: Nedra Morgan, Benay (Rodrick) Crawford, Marlena (Leo) Laborn. Lamar (Kenya) Morgan & Demita (MJ) Cox; eleven grandchildren: Jerrod, Makayla, Reyonna, Jeremiah, Darren, Jamiah, Rashawn, Lamiah, Jamel, Josiah & Jamon. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his mother: Lola Mae Morgan; two brothers: Otis (Jennifer) Morgan and Danny (Barbara) Morgan; four sisters: Bertha Mathis, Shirley Russell, Linda (Kenneth) Samuels and Priscilla Williams. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special aunt: Izola Griggs; special friends: Leon Binion, Willie C. Winder, Peter White and brother-in-law, Preston Hubbard. Extended family and friends in Green Meadows, Cook Hill and Penor Street; special nephews: Tony Walker, Kacy Morgan, Tony Wade and best brothers ever, Otis and Danny Morgan; in-laws: Hoylene (Horace), Helen, Andrea, Corraine, Twila (Carlton), Gerald. Derek and Torry.
He was loved and known by many. Rest in Peace. We Love You and will always cherish our memories
