Obituary For Carrie Mae Geter
Carrie Mae Geter was born in Eatonton, Georgia on July 10, 1950, a daughter of the late Lizzie Mae Huff. Also preceding her in death is her husband, Samuel Geter, Jr.
During Carrie's life, she touched the lives of many people with her smile, caring heart, selfless devotion to her family and friends. In her spare time she enjoyed watching TV gameshows.
On July 28, 2024, Carrie was called from labor to reward.
Sweet memories will linger in the hearts of her children: Mohummud Geter (Dionna), Samuel Geter, China Reid, Nathaniel Huff (Claudia) and Susie Geter; her grandchildren: Damario Geter (Masiana), Kameron Geter, Lacy Tuck, Samir Geter, Amondra Geter, Samantha Geter, Shanica Geter, Melvin Geter and Ricky Howard, Jr.; one brother, Eugene Huff and a host of other relatives and friends.
Service: Saturday, August 3, 2024 from the Watts Funeral Home Chapel at 1p.m. with Rev. Kacy Morgan, Officiating. Burial will be at Boswell Chapel Baptist Church.
