Carrie Mae Gresham Collins was born on December 15, 1952 to the late Mr. Gartrell and Mrs. Susie Mae Gresham. As Carrie grew, she attended and graduated from the Cave Springs School for the Deaf in Cave Springs, Georgia. Carrie was a diligent seamstress and enjoyed her work. Carrie married the late Billy Joe Collins at a young age. Carrie was preceded in death by siblings, Hildred Parrot, William Gresham and Gartrell Gresham Jr and granddaughter, Kahlia Johnson. She leaves to cherish her memories, two (2) loving daughters, Vesta Johnson and Heather Ellis (Andrew), all of which reside in Macon, Georgia, her dear sister, Mrs. Lillian Thomas of Crawfordville Georgia and her beloved partner, Mr. Shonna Green. Carrie had thirteen (13) grandkids and ten (10) great-grandkids and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones across Georgia.
