Corey Dernik Thomas was born October 26, 1979 in Greene County, Georgia to Audrey Melissa Scott and Terry Gresham, Sr.

He received his education in the Greene and Putnam County School Systems. He was a gifted barber and he also had a talent for working on electronics and cars.

Corey was known for his beautiful smile. He never met a person that didn’t become a friend. He loved to spend time with his family and friends.

Corey departed this life Monday September 6, 2021. He was preceded in death by a son, Narcorey Skylar Thomas.

Precious memories of his life will linger on in the hearts of his devoted and loving children: Isaiah Jones and Tamari Jones of Oklahoma City, Ok.; his mother Audrey Melissa Scott (David) of Eatonton, Ga., his father, Terry Gresham, Sr. (Deborah) of Theodore, Ms.; his sisters: Sharonda Thomas of Eatonton, Ga., Crystal Thomas Wymbs (Jeff) of Athens, Ga.; Shearea & Kimberly Gresham of Gauiter, Mississippi and Sherrett Reid (Michael) of Greensboro, Ga.; his brothers: Kalios Thomas (Shawayne) and Terrance White (Ravonda) of both of Athens, Ga., Tyrus Johnson of Greensboro, Ga., Terry Gresham Jr. (Teadra), , Joseph Gresham (Josie) and Julius Gresham (Lekeyia) all of Gauiter, Mississippi; Special nephew: Rondauel R. Humphries of Fort Sills, Ok.; special friend: Katrina Hartry and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
