Corey Dexter Lawrence was born August 30, 1971 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was the youngest child born to Adair Lawrence, Sr. and the late Clara Nell Greene Lawrence.
Dexter received his education and graduated from Benjamin Banneker High School in 1989. After graduation Dexter went on further his education at Jackson State College and Georgia State University with a major in Liberal Arts. During this time Dexter pledged Kappa Alpha Psi.
Dexter worked for the Ford Motor Assembly Plant in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dexter was a person with a gentle and humble spirit filled with love and kindness.
To cherish the memories of Dexter he leaves his loving and caring father Adair Lawrence, Sr.; his brothers Douglas (Carol) Lawrence, Sr. of Fayetteville, Georgia; Reginald (Cecelia Lynn) Lawrence of Fayetteville, Georgia; Adair Lawrence, Jr. of Riverdale, Georgia; one daughter: Coronda Lawrence of Atlanta, Georgia; one nephew: Douglas (Lil D); three nieces: Tashae, Ashley, & Arianna; great nieces and nephews: Ava, LaRue, McKinley, Moriah, Malachi, & Ayce; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.
