Obituary For Dallas Jean Jenkins

Ms. Dallas Jean Jenkins was born on June 4th 1961 to the late Robert and Annie Mae Mitchell. (Big D) as she was affectionately known departed this earth on Monday Sept. 22, 2025 at her home in Warrenton Ga surrounded by her family. She was also preceded in death by her 6 brothers and 2 sisters.

She attended Greene Taliaferro Comprehensive High School where she made many friends along the way. She answered her calling and allowed the Lord to come into her life and became a member of Second Baptist Church before her health began to fail.

Big D enjoyed music, cooking, singing, dancing, playing cards and most of all being with her family and friends. Taking care of others was her passion. She was employed at Warrenton Health and Rehab for many years until her health began to fail.

She leaves to cherish her memories her brother William (Ollie Mae) Mitchell, and her last, special, everything loving sister Pauline Lewis both of White Plains Ga. Her 5 daughters: Yolanda Williams of Atlanta Ga, Langelia (Tony) Salters of Lake Oconee, Shantel (Dantavuis) Bray of Thomson Ga, Terrica Jenkins of Warrenton Ga, and Dominique Jenkins of Thomson Ga, and 2 sons: Terry Jenkins Jr., of Warrenton Ga and Robert Williams III of Siloam Ga. She had 24 grand kids, 4 great grands, a loving auntie Gracie Cummings, a faithful ex mother-in-law Dorothy Jenkins, her best friend Tomekio Erwin of Warrenton Ga and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

I went to your apartment to visit with you yesterday and was told by a neighbor that you don't live there anymore and why. I am so thankful that I know where you now live...with Jesus in Heaven! I'm so glad that you are healed, but your sweet smile will be missed...until we meet again. To the family...I am so sorry for your loss. Dallas was a sweet lady and I'm thankful to have had the opportunity to know her.
