Obituary For Deacon Willie Clarence Chester

Deacon Willie Clarence Chester was one of 10 children born to the late Otis and Virginia Chester in Greene County Georgia on July 8, 1936.

Deacon Chester,(Dub as he was living called), was employed by General Motors in Doraville, Georgia . After 28 years of service, he retired to enjoy his favorite pastime. He was a member of the Atlanta Senior Golfers.

On, December 28, 1982, he married Juanita Rachel Sexton. This union created a blended family with 6 children.

On June 27, 2025 God called and he answered. He leaves cherished memories with his devoted wife, Juanita Chester of 43 years, five loving children, Shirley Roland Greensboro, Georgia, Jerry Chester, Decatur, Georgia, Jacqueline Chester and Dr. Treva Sexton both of Douglasville, Georgia, Anthony Chester, Atlanta, Georgia. One son Adrian Chester, proceeded him in death. 12 grandchildren with 2 who proceeded him in death and seven great grandchildren. Three sisters, Agnes Parrott, Dorothy Jackson, both of Union Point, Georgia, Vera Osmond, Milledgeville, Georgia. Two brothers, Harold Chester and Otis Chester, both of Union Point Georgia. Two sisters in-laws, Jacqueline Chester Union Point, Georgia, Dean Chester of North Carolina.

Service for Mr. Chester will be Saturday, July 6, 2025 at 11am from the Greater Springfield Baptist Church, 721 Jones Avenue Northwest Atlanta, Georgia. Viewing from 10 AM to the hour of service.
