Mr. Edward Gresham was born on September 9,1953 in Greensboro, Georgia to the late Woodrow (Tap) Gresham and Bessie Lee Gresham. He was known to many as ‘Ed’. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Rudolph Gresham and Jeannette Lamar and granddaughter Janiyah.
Edward accepted Christ at an early age. He later rededicated his life and was always providing spiritual guidance to anyone open to listening. Edward matriculated through Greene County Schools and graduated from Job Corps. Through dedication and hard work, he owned and operated Edward’s Cleaning Service, servicing Middle Georgia, until his early retirement.
On February 6, 2021, the Lord called his beloved son, Edward, home. He accepted and went on to eternal peace.
He leaves to cherish his memories: His children Veronique Gresham Manuel (Anthony) of Smyrna Ga., Micheal Gresham (Annika) of Covington Ga., Tinikia Heath of Decatur, Ga., Shanteller Gresham of Covington Ga., Tekeya Gresham of Covington Ga., Summer Gresham of Macon Ga.; ten grandchildren: Micheal Jr, Kayla, Aeron Edward, Tamara, Sarai, Tiniya, Raegan, Coleton, Neima, and Ariana.
His siblings Tina (Freddy), Miracle (Bruce), William, Brenda (Willie), Jerry, Tony, Bobby (Bridgette), Joyce, Woodrow Jr. (Brenda), Gloria (John), Melvin, Ernest, and Maurice. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Graveside service will be held Monday, February 15, 2021 at 11 am from New Bethel Church 2171 Leslie Mill Rd. Greensboro, GA 30642
