Obituary For Eliza Mae Richardson

Ms. Eliza Mae Richardson was born on October 16, 1949 in Philomath, Ga to the late Joe and Ola Sue Richardson.

At an early age Eliza gave her life to Christ at Springhill Baptist Church of Philomath, Ga., where she remained a faithful member until her last days. During her time at Springhill Baptist Church, Eliza was a active member of the choir and served as the church secretary for many years.

Eliza worked at the Greene County Headstart as a Preschool Assistant Teacher for many years until her retirement.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her daughter: Valerie (Clarence) Peek; two grandchildren: Alexis (Deviantae) Palmer and O’Darrious Peek; two brothers: James (Juanita) Richardson, Rufus (Sandra) Richardson; two sisters: Ola Jean Richardson and Rosie (Randy) Jarrell. She also leaves her best friend Sallie Hughes and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will at the Springhill Baptist Church in Philomath, GA, Thursday April 16, 2026 11am with Rev. M. W. Gresham, Eulogist.
