Felicia (Mignon) McCommons born October 6, 1970 in Atlanta Ga to the late Mr. Willie B. McCommons and the late Mrs. Annie Ruth (Chester) McCommons.
She was baptized at an early age at New Springfield Baptist Church in Siloam Ga. where she regularly attended as a child, she went on to graduate from Greene Taliaferro High School in Greensboro Ga. She unfortunately didn’t get the blessing of children but loved them.
She lived in Athens for a few years then moved back to White Plains to care for her parents. Anyone that knew Felicia (Lisa)knew her as a kind loving spirit that was willing to help anyone she could and she loved to talk and laugh. And later in life she endured some hardships but kept a loving pleasant spirit that would still help if she could. The love of her life was her nephew, whom she sort of unofficially adopted as her own child. Lisa had a host of friends she loved dearly.
Felicia leaves to cherish her memories one brother Edward L McCommons of Mableton Georgia and one nephew Isiah Jaques McCommons of Madison Ga. Felicia also leaves to cherish her memories one surviving aunt Mrs. Susie Thomas and a special cousin Russell (Mary) Greene of Athens, Ga. whom spent a lot of time and effort in contributing to the comfort of her last days but also a host of cousins on the Chester and McCommons sides.
