Obituary For Grady Bess
Grady was born July 19, 1949 to the late Mattie Lou Sanford Moore Bess and Robert Bess. Grady departed this life on August 10, 2024.
In addition to his parents, five siblings preceded him death: Dolfort Jackson, John L. Moore, Margaret Scott, Evelyn Jones and Mattie Stephens.
Grady joined the Boswell Chapel Baptist Church at an early age. He served faithfully until his health failed him.
Grady’s favorite saying was, “Don’t go to bed with a sack on your head.”
Grady leaves to cherish his memories two sisters: Annie (Joe) Baker of Sparta, Ga and Maggie M. Brown of Greensboro, Ga; one brother: James Bess of Greensboro, Ga. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Service: Wednesday, August 14, 2024 from the Boswell Chapel Baptist Greensboro, GA at 1pm with Rev. Arthur Porter, Eulogist.
