Mr. Hilliard Jackson was one of nine children, born on the 15th day of April in the year of 1948 in Greensboro, Georgia to the late Alice Mae Holden Jackson.
During his childhood, he accepted Christ and became a member of Hill Chapel Baptist Church in Greensboro, Georgia, and later became a Deacon. During high school he was very athletic and loved running track and playing football (#26). Hilliard graduated from Floyd T. Corry High School in 1967. After graduation, he began working at Central Soya, and a few years later, decided to transition to Universal Rundle for a better job opportunity. During this time, he met and married the love of his life, Rochell Grant. To this union, a beautiful and loving family was created, Vonda, Alonzo, Dana, and Crystal.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His hobbies were cooking, fishing, joking, watching sports and “Westerns”.
He is happily rejoined with his wife Rochell, daughter Gail, granddaughter Miya, his sisters, Cornelia, Dorothy, and Daisy, and his brother Edward.
He will be missed, but his legacy of love will remain eternal in our hearts to everyone that knew him. Hilliard entered into rest on May 28, 2021.
