Obituary For Inell Wilson

Inell Alexander a queen was begotten by John Henry Sigman and born to Mary Ethel Alexander in Greene County, Georgia on the 13th day of March 1953. She was raised in the home with her siblings Bud, Howard, SM, Lester, Bonnie, RL, Sammy and Millard.

Inell joined the Rock Hill Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Jordan at the age of twelve. She served in many capacities while being a member including the usher’s ministry, choir, attended Sunday School and church regularly. In 1984 Inell joined the St. Galilee Baptist Church of Sparta, GA under the leadership of Pastor Jerry F. Hutchins. She served as a deaconess, in the choir, mission ministry, mother’s board, ushers board, food committee, driver of the van ministry, chaperone for many youth functions, and pastor’s aide team. Inell served under two additional pastors at St. Galilee, Lorenzo Heard and Willie McCalla. In 2000 Inell joined the Timothy Baptist Church of Athens, GA under the leadership of Bishop Jerry F. Hutchins. She later joined the Kingdom Now Church family of Norcross, GA under the leadership of Bishop Jerry Hutchins. Inell was faithful to God and to her church community. During the last year of life as her health declined her main goal was to get back to the Kingdom Now Church.

Inell married Carl Vinson Wilson of Sparta, GA in May of 1982. Although their union was shortened by death after five years of marriage, she never remarried (she said the men wouldn’t want her but one of her daughters or son). They shared three children during their marriage Junava, David and Ruby.

Inell attended the Greene County Public School system. She was a part of the graduating class of 1971 which was a part of the integration of the Floyd Thomas Corry High School. After graduating high school, she was the first of her siblings to attend college. She attended Marsh Draughon Business College of Atlanta. She never completed her secondary education but held down stable work to provide for her children. During her working years to name a few she worked for Greene County Public Schools as a Para-professional then substitute teacher, Universal Rundle, University of Georgia Cooperative Extension Services and the Greene County Health Department until becoming disabled.

Inell enjoyed cooking, singing and watching her soap operas. During her latter years everyone knew not to call during her story time or she would bless you out with the silent treatment.

Inell was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse, her siblings Curtis Sigman, Sr, Edward Sigman, Sr, Eugene Alexander, Samuel Alexander, Lester Alexander and Howard Alexander.

Inell Wilson leaves to cherish her memories her three children Junava (George) Jackson of White Plains, GA, David (Claritha) Wilson of White Plains, GA and Ruby (Chris) Stephens of Colbert, GA; five grandchildren Timothy Hollis(Alysia) of Grovetown , GA, Lamarcus Wilson of Milledgeville, GA, Claricia Wilson of Gainesville, GA and Krysten Stephens and Chandler Stephens of Colbert, GA; five great grands Elijah Burden of Gainesville, GA, Neriah Hollis of Macon, GA, Rylie Gartrell, Kennedi Hollis and Kendall Hollis of Grovetown, GA; Siblings two sisters Bonnie Smith of Greensboro, GA and Sara Alice Sigman of Anderson, SC, three brothers SM Alexander of White Plains, GA, Robert Alexander of Athens, GA and Millard Alexander of White Plains, GA. She also leaves a special friend Dr. Geraldine Clarke and her dependable Elder Debbie Anderson. She also leaves to cherish her memories a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in laws, friends and the Kingdom Now Church family.

Inell lived her life in harmony with the principles of God. She departed this life while being cared for by her dedicated daughter Junava and devoted son in law George.
