Janie Armour was born March 21, 1948 to Bessie Chaffin and Eugene Moss in Greensboro, Ga. She attended Greene County Schools. Janie was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
Janie leaves to cherish her memories, her husband Jefferson Armour of 59 years; three children: Tommy Armour, Sr. (Rita), Jacqueline Armour and Demetria Armour; her brother: Eugene Chaffin, Sr., (Dallas); her grandchildren: Tommy Jr., Ashlee, Marita, Kimberly, Elantra, Mychel, Mykel and Yandi; one grandchild Candice preceded her in death; 10 great grandchildren: Teyana, Amarian, Ja’mia, Lauren. Ja’mel, Indyah, Bailey, Ja’trel, Ian and Ja’mir. She also leaves three sisters-in-law: Alberta, Mary Ann and Bernadette and a host of nieces, nephews & cousins.
She joins her late sibling: James, Freddie, Charlie Joe, Eddie and Willie Mae.
Service: Monday, December 23, 2034 at 12 Noon from the Chapel at Watts Funeral Home.
