It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffrey E. Whitaker, who departed this life on 29 May of 2026 at the age of 50.

Jeffrey was born on December 7, 1975 in Grand Rapids, MI to Jerry and Linda Whitaker. He grew up as a military brat living in several states and in Germany and was known for his kind heart, sense of humor, strong work ethic, and generosity. Throughout his life, Jeffrey touched the hearts of countless family members, friends, and colleagues with his unwavering love, loyalty, and compassion.

Jeffrey was employed with Oconee Outdoor for seven years. He took great pride in his work and was respected by all who knew him. Above all else, Jeffrey cherished the time he spent with his wife and son.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Angela Whitaker, with whom he shared 27 years of marriage; his son, David Whitaker; his sister, Sharon; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure his memory.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Linda Whitaker.

Jeffrey's sudden passing leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of those who loved him. His kindness, laughter, and love will be remembered always. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that he is reunited with loved ones who passed before him and that his memory will live on in all who knew him.

Forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.

A celebration of life will be held at

WESLEY CHAPEL CHURCH.

June 7th 2026

Sunday at 2pm with REV. BRUCE LOVIN AND JOSH LINDSEY Officiating.
