Mr. John H. Kendrick, Sr. was born in Washington, Ga. to the late Mr. William Henry Kendrick, Sr. and Mrs. Alice J, Kendrick, on February 01, 1957. Mr. John H. Kendrick, Sr. was called home on October 02, 2025.
John was always a friendly person, always had a conversation for you. No one was a stranger to him. Most of us called him "Rabbit". If you were ever in his presence, he always gave a hand shake or a hug. Hugs mostly!
John attended the Greene County School System. During that time John played football. Later he worked as a dairyman until his health wouldn't allow it. As an elderly gentleman he would frequent The Greene County Senior Center, where he enjoyed others and they enjoyed him, he liked to use the words, ”cutting up'’.
John leaves to cherish his memories with his wife Mrs. Tina Kendrick; children: Rebecca Reid, Adrian (Rufus) Kendrick, Alexis (Brandon) Battle, John Kendrick. Jr., Bryant Kenderick, and Sharundez (Yvonne) Kendrick. Sisters, Mrs. Mary (Robert) Robbins, Ms. Jacqueline E. Kendrick. Brothers, Mr. William H. Kendrick, Jr., Mr. Jerry P. (Miranda) Kendrick, Sr., Mr. Richard (Jennifer) Kendrick; 20 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Two brother-n-laws: Eddie Payne, Jerome (Mary) Carroll, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. A good companion during the last part of his illness, Jeremy Carroll.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Chiquita Wade, and granddaughter Chitavies Norwood.
