Obituary For Lizzie Mae Meadows
Lizzie Mae Meadows was born on July 6, 1959 to the late Mr. Charlie Meadows Sr. & Susie Meadows. Lizzie was the last born of seven children and was raised in Crawfordville, Ga. At an early age she attended Vineville Academy – School for the blind in Macon, Ga.
She later relocated to Athens, Ga then on to Monroe, Ga where she spent most of her life at Dolly’s Personal Care Home sharing her love, warm smile and beautiful spirit with her friends and family until her passing. Lizzie made her peaceful transition on January 13, 2026.
She was proceeded in death by one sister and three brothers.
Lizzie leaves to cherish her wonderful memories her daughter, Cassandra Hawkins and granddaughters Zariah & Zaniah Hawkins. She also leaves behind two loving sisters, Emma Hunt; Barbara Glenn and a host of nieces and nephews.
