Obituary For Mary Briscoe

Mary Briscoe was born December 18, 1950 to the late Joe Briscoe, Sr. and Katherine Briscoe. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Lawrence Briscoe, Joe Briscoe, Jr., Annie S. Briscoe, and Pamela Briscoe.

Mary joined St. Paul Baptist Church at a young age and was educated in the Greene County School System. She enjoyed baby-sitting and loved cooking.

Mary made the transition from her earthly life to her heavenly home on January 31, 2025.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory: her son Marcus (Sharonne) Briscoe, of Frisco, Tx. and her daughter Tonya Willis of Siloam, Ga.; three sisters: Doris Kennybrew, Peggy Dorsey (James), and Vickie Briscoe all of Woodville, Ga.; grandchildren: Shaquielle Hammond, Keauana Smith (Chris), Teaira & Shemia Jones; great-grandchildren: Amiyah, Kamara, Mulani, Kaycem & Christopher, Jr.; sister-in-law Thelmon Briscoe; three aunts: Ruedine Smith, Barbara Andrews & Dorothy Hopson (John); two uncles: Edward Finch & Grady Finch, Jr. (Gail); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 from the St. Paul Baptist Church, Woodville, GA at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Willie Chester, Jr. Officiating
