Obituary For Mildred G. Gresham
Mrs. Mildred G. Gresham was born on August 24, 1954 to Mae Willie Geter and Paul Jernigan. Mildred was the baby of four children.
Mildred attended Greene County Schools. After completion of High School, she met William Gresham Sr. and they were united in Holy Matrimony.
She was a servant in the church and in the community. She was loved by many. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents Paul Jernigan and Mae Willie Geter as well as her husband William Gresham, Sr., a granddaughter Brianna Gresham and a grandson Vinson Gresham, Jr.
On September 12, 2025 Mildred transitioned into eternity.
Mildred leaves to cherish her memories seven children: Roger (Temetra) Geter, Jamie Gresham, Monica (Zeddwick) Twilley, Donna (Fred) Swain, Vinson Gresham, William Gresham, Jr., and R.J.; a sister Hattie Mae and a brother Paul, Jr.; a special friend Willie Merritt, Jr.; 29 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Service: Saturday, September 20, 2025 from the Ebenezer AME Church 702 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, Greensboro, GA at 12:30 p.m.
