The world became a lot richer on April 14, 1966, for it was on this date the late Deacon Flenard and Christine Rowland welcomed another son in this world. He was named Reginald. Reginald accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior at an early age and joined Antioch Baptist Church where he served faithfully. Reginald was educated in the Greene County School System. Reginald was employed by the Greene County Board of Education for more than10 years before pursuing other dreams and aspirations. Reginald devoted his life to family and they were his pride and joy. Reginald family extended far beyond his kids and granddaughter. All of his friends and neighbors were considered FAMILY. Reginald was very independent and hard working. He was faithful to his jobs throughout his career while rarely missing any days from work. On Saturday, December 12, 2020, the Lord called Reginald and he answered His call. Reginald mother and father preceded him in death, Deacon Flenard and Christine Rowland. Precious memories of his life will forever be in the hearts of his children: Jaleesa Walker (David), Kiana A. Rowland both of Greensboro, Ga., Candice Kilpatrick, Atlanta GA., one sister: June L. Rowland, five brothers: Flenard Rowland, Jr. (Margie), Tony J. Rowland, Deacon Tyrone Rowland, Ronnie Smith and Charles West all of Greensboro, GA: One Loving Granddaughter whom he adored, Krissy Shelton: Godmother, Patricia Williams and a host of nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends
Graveside will be held Saturday 12/19/2020 from the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery at 1 pm.
