Mr. Robert Jr. Swain was the 7th of nine children. He was born on March 16, 1955 to the late Robert Lewis Swain Sr. and Jennie Bell Hillsman Swain. He was preceded in death by his sisters: Agnes Clifton, Linda Gresham, and Ruthie Rouse; and brothers; George Swain, Jimmy Lee Swain, Malcolm Swain and L.C. Swain.
Jr. as he was affectionately known gained his wings on May 5, 2025 at Piedmont Healthcare in Athens Ga. Jr. was educated in the Greene County School system. He
loved playing football, working and spending time having fun with his family and friends while watching his favorite team the Georgia Bulldogs.
Jr. was a dedicated hard working man until his health failed.
He was employed by Holcomb Dairy and Ponderosas with his good friend Joe for many, many years. When he moved to Florida His friend Joe Taylor started a business renovating apartments along with a little farming were a show stopping team the last healthy years of his life.
He leaves to cherish his memories 1 daughter Tomekia Swain (Athens), 2 sons Jonathan Brinkley (White Plains) and Lewis Turner (Greensboro), 1 sister Shirley Swain (White Plains Ga), 5 Grandkids Rogerous & Tridarius Swain (Athens),
Jonquarius Hill (Eatonton), Ava Turner & Ashlynn Baldwin of Milledgeville Ga., 3 great grands, although separated he leaves his wife Diane Swain(Siloam Ga), and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins relatives, family and friends. He had many friends but Freddie Brinkley was his road dog. His dynamic, awesome, faithful niece and caregiver Janice Alexander who stood by his side until the very end.
