Obituary For Robert L. Brown, Jr.

Robert was born October 3, 1953 to the late Mr. Robert Lee Brown, Sr. & Nusette Willingham-Brown. He transitioned to be with the Lord on April 17, 2021. Later in life, he joined Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family, helping others, and enjoying life. Preceding him in death was his son Jamie Brown, daughters Avanti Brown and Candice Armour, and his brother Jimmy Lee Brown. Robert leaves to cherish his memories: his wife Lillie Brown. Children: Andre (Verna) Brown of Madison, GA; Sherell (Alileo) Slack of Statham, GA; De’Vanti Brown of Statham, GA; Tadequa Brown of Greensboro, GA; Kimberly (Tommy) Carlisle of Hoover, AL and Samantha (Robert) Hawkins of Greensboro, GA. Siblings: Nellie (Gene) Newsome of Athens, GA; Frank (Hazel) Brown of Union Point, GA; Mamie (Larry) Reed of Athens, GA; Otis (Cherry) Brown of Athens, GA; Brenda Brown of Greensboro, GA; Inez Davenport of Bogart, GA; Mary Brown of Conyers, GA; Michael (Sherry) Brown of Austell, GA, Nusette Jackson of Union Point, GA and sister-in-law Maggie Mae Brown of Greensboro, GA. He also leaves 18 grandchildren that he loved so dearly and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends (Dwayne Foster, Cleo & Tammy Jones).

Graveside service will be held Friday, April 23, 2021 from Boswell Chapel Baptist Church, Greensboro, GA at 1 pm.
