Robert Latimore was born on December 27, 1943 to the late Mathes and Lula Mae Latimore in Woodville, Georgia. Robert was the fifth of ten children born to this union.
He joined St. Paul Baptist Church at an early age. He was brought up through the Greene County School System, and graduated from Floyd T Corry High School in 1962. After graduating he moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where he got a job at a flower plant. He worked there a while until he enlisted in the United States Army, where he served honorably for two years. When he returned to Atlanta, he was employed at a glass company. He worked there for many years before retiring.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by two brothers John Latimore and James Latimore.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Theresa Latimore; three sons: Robert, Stanford and Authur Zollie; one step-son Alfred; two daughters Tara and Amy; siblings: Willie Latimore, Tommie (Daisy) Latimore, Rosa Gresham, Katie Porter, Jerry Latimore, Betty (Jimmy) Carter and Franklin (Jeanette) Latimore; he also leaves one aunt Ethelene Fulton, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and life-long friends.
Robert enjoyed cooking, he had a great sense of humor, he always had plenty of jokes and tricks, he would play on the young nephews when they were growing up.
