Obituary For Robert Lee McWhorter
Robert Lee McWhorter was born on December 15, 1954, to the late Mary Frances McWhorter.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Sarah Brown and Betty Gail McWhorter, and his brothers, James McWhorter, and Henry McWhorter, Jr.
He gave his life to Christ and became a member of Harmonia Baptist Church.
Robert attended F. T. Corry High School in Greensboro, Georgia. In his early years, he was employed at Henry Sissonโs filling station in Union Point. He later worked in maintenance at Greene Point Health and Rehabilitation and at the Chipman-Union Hosiery Mill. He also served as a bus driver while continuing his maintenance work.
Cherishing his memory are his daughter, Fabriee McWhorter, and his son, Roger Lee (Temetra) Geter, Sr. He also leaves to cherish his memory 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, his brother: Melvin (Patricia) McWhorter, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, cousins, friends, and caregivers Irene Baugh and Darnesi Nesbitt (All Ways Caring Homecare).
