Obituary For Ronald Allen

Ronald C. Allen, 75, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2026.

Ronald had a unique and deeply loving family structure that shaped the man so many knew and loved. He was born to parents Charles Hankerson and Elvira Bess Daniel and was lovingly raised - and spoiled, some may say - by John "Doc" and Deressa Allen. The love from all of them helped create the one-of-a-kind character who became Ronnie.

Ronnie attended Morris Brown College on a music scholarship, where he played trumpet, keyboard, and drums. He proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army and went on to build a long career in the textile industry until his retirement.

A man of many talents and a big heart, Ronnie gave back to his community as a coach in the neighborhood softball league. If you knew Ronnie, you knew you could find him listening to the Atlanta Braves on the radio in between making sure friends and neighbors had a ride to work or help running errands. He was always willing to go the extra mile - literally.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, James and Anthony Daniel.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Jacqueline Allen; his children, Timothy, Rodney, Ronaldo, and Rhonda; his sisters, Michelle Pittman, Romelia Green, Diletha Waldon, and Nicole Daniel; his beloved aunt, Valerie Mosley, whom he loved as a sister; and his cousin, Deacon Fredrick “Ricky”Allen, who was like a brother to him and with whom he shared many boyish adventures and lifelong memories. His 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren will ensure his legacy lives on.

He also leaves behind a host of other relatives, friends, and neighbors whose lives were touched by his generosity and his willingness to always lend a hand or a ride.

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, August 30, 2026 from the Siloam Missionary Baptist Church in Union Point, GA. at 11am.
