Obituary For Ruby M. Shelton

 Mrs. Ruby Mae Heard Shelton was born December 11, 1943 to the late Richard Heard, Sr. and Minnie M, Webster Heard. She was called to rest on September 19, 2020. Preceding her in death are her parents above, her husband Joe Shelton, a son Ross Shelton, daughters Julia Shelton and Ellen Shelton Reid, sisters Shirley Webster and Mary Elizabeth Webster, brothers Richard Heard, Jr, Willie Lee Heard, J. E. Heard and Walter Heard, granddaughter Elena Shelton and grandsons Lil Terry and Lil Timothy.

 Ruby M. Shelton was Ma and Grandma and Ms. Ruby to everybody else. She worked as a poultry worker at Harrison Poultry for about 30 years. She’s been a member at Boswell Chapel since the early 2000. She was a kind, loving, respectful and very strong willed – mind, body and soul. She will be missed dearly

 Left cherishing her memories are: her children: Bobby Shelton Sr., Jerome Shelton, Lorene Shelton Warren, Robin Shelton Seals, Priscilla Shelton, Victoria Shelton, Rosemary Shelton and Roger Shelton; sisters: Mrs. Diane (Michael) Askew and Mrs. Deloris (Robert) Lindsey; and a host of grandkids, great grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins and her bestie Corene Ingram.

Funeral service will be held Thursday September 24, 2020 from the Boswell Chapel Baptist Church cemetery at 2 pm.
