Obituary For Shirley A. Callaway
Shirley Mitchell Callaway was born January 22, 1958 in Atlanta, Georgia to Ms. Rudine Mitchell.
Shirley was raised and educated in Greene County. Sha accepted Christ at an early age at Siloam Missionary Baptist Church in Union Point, Georgia.
She worked at Chipman Union for many years then attended Athens Technical College for Certified Nursing Assistant. She later worked at Cotton Corner Kitchel for a few years.
Shirley was a loving caring and gentle person, who loved her family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving mother, Ms. Rudine Mitchell; her only son Adrico Callaway; five grandchildren; a special friend Lonnie Fulton and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Service was held Friday, May 29, 2026 from the Watts Funeral Home Chapel, Union Point, GA at 2pm. with Rev. Frances Harper, Officiating.
