Tammy Frances Hubbard English passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025
Born in Greensboro, Georgia on January 6, 1962, she was the daughter of Emory Lee Hubbard, Sr. and Lynda Taylor Hubbard.
Tammy grew up in Union Point, Georgia. She was a 1981 graduate of Greene County high School. She served as the mail carrier for Chipman-Union in Union Point. She later did clerical work for Carey Station Resort in Greensboro and Tallulah River Resort in Tallulah Falls. She was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church of Union Point.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.
Tammy loved her family. She enjoyed cooking delicious meals for holidays and just getting together. She was good with crafts. She loved making beautiful wreaths for her friends and family.
She had a way of making people laugh and was such a joy to be around. She had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing as long as her breathing made it possible.
She was preceded in death by her father and half-sister, Wanda McCannon.
She is survived by two daughters: Katie Welch and Sally Bussey; grandchildren: Jaden Nix, Will Welch, Emy Welch, Ryder Bussey, Jayci Bussey, Sibley Bussey, Tuff Bradley, Lane Bradley and Grace Watson; her mother Lynda Hubbard; sister Terri Gaston, who never left her side; brother: Lee Hubbard; half-sisters: Teressa Gentry and Jackie Land; brother-in-law Frank Hammond English.
