Obituary For Tysean Urain Lunceford

Tysean Urian Lunceford was born June 10,1972, in Brooklyn, New York to Gaddis and Daisy Lunceford. Tysean was the youngest of five siblings. Tysean is survived by his five siblings in chronological order: Brenda Lee Lunceford (GA), Beverly McDonald (VA), Renee Hollomon Lunceford (PA), Gaddis Raynard Hanson Lunceford (GA), and Virgous Dale Lunceford (NY).

Tysean, better known as Sean, attended New York City Elementary School 299, Halsey Junior High School, and Pacific HS where he received his High School Diploma.

Sean worked various remedial jobs: painting, construction, moving companies and briefly with Sam Club in North Carolina.

Shortly after completing High School, Sean married Trina Christie. From that Union, Jazmine Emani Lunceford was born. Prior to that union, another beautiful baby girl was born name Tiffany Gisele Wade.

In 1995, with the dissolution of his marriage to Trina, Sean moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina where he met the love of his life and life partner of over 25 years, Montrice Holman. From that union, Tyerek Holman Lunceford was born. At the time of this union, Shanteia Holman, daughter of Montrice, was eight years old and emotionally adopted and called by Sean his daughter as well.

Sean spent the majority of his adult life in North Carolina, there he was AKA Dice, by many of his friends. Sean was a Dapper Dan in old school terms, he loved to dress in the finest attire and did so with such style, he was admired and imitated by “fans” galore. Sean loved the high life and lived life to the max.

His favorite sport was basketball, he played on his high school basketball team as a Forward. His older Cousin Gerrod, would often sneak Sean in on his team against older guys for a sure win. Sean had a laugh that you couldn’t help but to join in and snicker at, even if you did not have a clue of the joke. This was often followed up with his favorite old school saying “WORD”. He will certainly be missed for his special relationship with his son Tyreke. Watching video games and shooting the breeze as most Dad and Sons do. Sean had a big heart, trying to love everyone, often such love being misguided to those unworthy.

May he rest in peace, to all those who didn’t get a chance to experience the true love he felt for you, rest assured it was safely locked away in his heart for you.

He leaves to cherish in his memory the love of his life Montrice Holman, daughters: Tiffany Gisele Wade Norgriff (Rondell) (GA), Shanteia Holman (NC), Jazmin Emani Lunceford (GA), Tyerek Holman Lunceford (NC), Three Grand Children: Kaitlyn Norgriff, Jude Norgriff, and Cameron Curtis.

One maternal Uncle: Roy Hanson (GA),

Four paternal Uncles: Willie Lunceford (GA), Tommy Lunceford (GA), Ed Lunceford (GA), and Marcel Lunceford (GA).

Two Paternal Aunts: Easter Menafee (GA), Annie Ruth Randolph (GA)

Nieces: Shakeda Monet King, Kamora MacDonald, Deserie Lunceford, Alyia Roberts,

Nephews: Alfredo Roberts Jr (NY)., Virgous Dashawn Lunceford (NY), Javon Malik Love (VA), Carter Roberts, Hunter Roberts, Joshua Roberts and Ali Roberts

A host of cousins and friends, all of which he loved dearly.

We would be remise if we did not mention his lifelong friends: Sheldon and Dezz, both of Bklyn NY .

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at the Lyonsville Baptist Church,1967 Martin Echols Road, Rayle, Ga. 12 pm
