Mrs. Wilhelmina Beasley Mitchell is now in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior.
She departed in peace, in the comfort of her home, September 28, 2023.
She was born to Eva Edwards Beasley and Hushel Beasley on December 2, 1930, in Crawfordville, Ga. and leaves behind her only child, “Mona Augusta”.
She was known to all who knew her as “Willie”, “Bill”, “Wilhelmina” and “Miss Mitchell”.
Willie attended New Hope High School in Springfield and Murden in Crawfordville.
Ms. Mitchell met and spent many years with her now deceased husband, John Mitchell, Jr., while residing in Tinton Falls, New Jersey.
“Willie” had a rewarding and successful career with Fort Monmouth which spanned 31 years of Federal Service for the Department of the Army.
A host of relatives and friends celebrate her interesting and fun-filled life. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was a lifetime member of The Greater Level Hill Baptist Church.
