Obituary For Willie Cook

Willie "Chuck" Cook was born October 28, 1949, in Buckhead, Ga to the late Charlie and Bessie Lee Cook. He was the second oldest of six children. He was married to his high school sweetheart Paulette Brown Cook who preceded him in death.

Chuck was a lifelong member of the Mount Zion Baptist Church where he served faithfully on the usher board. He loved his pastor, first lady and church family dearly. After the passing of his wife Paulette, he continued to render his services to her church, Flat Rock Baptist Church whenever needed.

He was a 1969 graduate of Pearl High School. After high school he was drafted into the US Army, where he served 3 years. He worked for Georgia Power Plant, Harllee Branch and Plant Scherer for 40 years until he retired. He was also the owner and operator of Triple C Farms, a cattle business that he operated with his son Derrick.

Chuck was the epitome of a great man; humble, respectful, hardworking and dedicated to his family. He was the Patriarch of the Cook Family, he loved his family and believed in family sticking together. He was "Pa Pa" to all the children that entered the doors of Cook's Kiddie Care. He was well known and loved ln his community where he never met a stranger.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his daughter, Monica and son, Derrick. Grandchildren: Chavez, Quadarius, Micah, Tyra and Darren. Great Grandchildren: Qirri, Masiah, Masyn, Malani and Zi'yon, Sisters: Patricia Johnson (Anderson) and Levion Lowe [Timmie]. Brother: Frederick Cook. Sisters-in-law: Thelma Cook and Berdie Washington. Brothers-in-law: Willie Brown and Jardus Walker. Aunts: Annie Burke, Barbara Edwards, Ernestine Edwards, Gladys Smith, Sarah Sanford and Susie Perriman. Uncle: Willie Williams. Best Friends: James Sanders and Lavoniah Sanders.
